NE/SAE welcomes and encourages involvement from all our members!  Our members play vital roles on our committees, and their active contributions ensure NE/SAE's success!

Education Committee

The Education Committee meets regularly, mostly via conference call, to plan the many quality events and educational programs that NE/SAE produces for our members each year, including our Annual Management Conference (January), our Annual Meeting (May/June) our Technology Conference (October/November). Using program evaluations, membership surveys, industry trends, connections and other information, the committee identifies topics and speakers for each of our exciting and engaging programs.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee works with NE/SAE's Treasurer and to oversee and review NE/SAE's financial matters, including investments.

Member Value Committee

The Member Value Committee welcomes new members and promotes the benefits of membership to prospective members. They are also responsible for our member surveys, policies related to membership, and other member outreach. The committee also makes recommendations to the board and the Education Committee on programs and services they think would be beneficial to our membership.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee puts out the call for candidates for NE/SAE's Board of Directors, meets to review candidates, and proposes a slate for election at NE/SAE's Annual Meeting.

Young Professionals Committee

The Young Professionals Committee plans educational programs and social events that are of interest to young association management professionals and the broader NE/SAE membership with a young professionals’ twist, aimed at promoting cross-collaboration with experienced association management professionals. The committee also provides insights and recommendations to NE/SAE’s Board of Directors and committees to create a foundation for NE/SAE’s value proposition to young association professionals by creating, distributing, and analyzing surveys and polls.
