Matt Curtin is the Creative Director at Unleashed Technologies and oversees the design and creative output for the agency. With more than a decade of experience in design and front-end web development, Matt ensures that deliverables are on brand, aesthetically appealing, fully functional, and easy to use. During his tenure at Unleashed Technologies, Matt has made significant contributions to many Drupal, WordPress, Magento, and Symfony projects.

Matt is constantly looking for ways to enhance user engagement through robust design systems, interactivity, and strong visual elements. Matt also provides leadership and guidance regarding HTML5 and CSS3 best practices and standards. Matt presented at the ASAE Technology Conference & Expo on Human-Centered Design and regularly shares his knowledge on design theory and tactics through Unleashed Technologies webinars and blogs.
 
With his leadership, Unleashed Technologies has won more than 20 awards for website development and design. A variety of client websites – NAFSA, American Association for Clinical Chemistry, NGAUS, U.S. Naval Institute, and others – have been recognized for innovative and engaging sites supported by the Unleashed team. Matt is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and Media Communications. Initially interested in animation, he developed a strong interest in graphic design and made that his primary focus.
 
While attending UMBC, Matt was a member of the varsity lacrosse team that won three American East Championships and made four trips to the NCAA Tournament. A resident of Baltimore City, Matt enjoys social sports, bike riding, club lacrosse, and cheering on his beloved Baltimore Ravens.

Beth Ziesenis: Author. Speaker. Nerd.

Since her first Motorola RAZR flip phone, Beth has made a verb out of the word "nerd." She's here to help you filter through thousands of apps, gadgets, widgets and doodads to find the perfect free and bargain technology tools for work and home. Although the only real trophy she ever won was for making perfect French fries at McDonald's in high school, Beth Z has been featured on Best Speaker lists by several organizations that write best speaker lists. She has written a whole shelf of books on apps and has spoken to more than 100,000 audience members like you. And if you're puzzling over why she goes by "Beth Z" - it's because she only finds about three people a year who can pronounce her last name.

 

Shaun Holloway
lives at the intersection of technology, marketing, and service, with a focus on IT strategy, service excellence, web technologies, project management, and influencing customer behavior “through the screen.” Currently, Shaun has responsibility for global technology, marketing, and business operations, while generating direct revenue through IT services and marketing initiatives, for an international campus housing association. He has led, designed, and launched several enterprise projects from websites, to online communities, to sales/CRM systems and data governance models, in addition to leading the application development and media production teams at several not-for-profit organizations. Serving on both marketing and IT leadership teams, Shaun is an advocate for great UI and UX design, pushing boundaries while managing risk, and how advancements in technology can improve operational efficiencies and enhance the way customers interact with their organizations.

Joanna has been working in the association space for 25 years, and has worked with some of the most prominent association and nonprofit brands. Joanna is passionate about the user experience and helping organizations "be better." Joanna's staff and clients call her Chief Troublemaker because she likes to think outside the box, question reality, and ask the hard questions so stuff gets done.

Her latest venture is the development of a virtual meeting platform, BeSpeake, which offers live and on-demand streaming, attendee search and networking, virtual tradeshow, personalized schedules, private meetings rooms and amazing event analytics.

 

She blogs regularly about web trends, e-marketing, social media and her favorite gadgets, and now that she's a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, she likes to say that she creates “killer" web solutions for her clients.


  

Kevin Rydberg is responsible for guiding and supporting businesses and organizations on their journeys to create accessible websites. With more than 19 years of experience in the multimedia and web development space, including enterprise redesign and accessibility overhauls, Kevin is a critical partner for Siteimprove customers when it comes to creating successful and sustainable accessibility programs.

 

Kevin has spoken and presented workshops at international conferences and events, including the Guelph Accessibility Conference at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, CSUN Assistive Technology Conference, EDUCAUSE Higher Education IT Conference, and the Conference of States Parties to the CRPD (Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities), at the United Nations, New York, NY.

 

Away from the office, Kevin continues to work on his BBQ skills. His brisket has received high praise from native Texans. He also enjoys traveling with his family to different locations around the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Andrea Siy has over 25 years experience in the marketing communications field, working in both agency and corporate environments.

 

She started her marketing agency, S!Y Communications, Inc. in 2003. Her team includes talented print and web designers. They approach each project with strategic thinking, proven marketing techniques and a fresh, innovative and creative style. They offer a full range of marketing services that include: logo and branding, literature, websites, trade shows, email marketing, social media, public relations and advertising campaigns. Their creative work has received numerous readership awards as well as the Campaign of the Year award at the Plastics News Marketing Summit in 2017.
