Due to the evolving circumstances surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, NE/SAE will host its 2021 Conference for Association Education virtually. Please save the dates for this conference, share with your colleagues and staff, and plan to join us for two-days of excellent educational sessions and networking programming - delivered to your home or office. Additional details to be announced soon!


Submit a Session Proposal

NE/SAE is currently accepting proposals for presentations at our virtual Conference for Association Education, to be held on Thursday, January 21 & Friday, January 22, 2021. You're invited to share your experiences, insights, and ideas with your colleagues. Please submit your proposal HERE by August 28, 2020. 


We're looking for tactical, how-to sessions that cover a variety of functional areas of association management. Sessions may be geared towards CEOs/Executive Directors, professional staff, or both. 


We would love to see sessions that provide tangible takeaways that attendees can implement right away. Sessions that incorporate elements of interactive learning, small group work, and peer-to-peer learning are highly encouraged. Questions - click here to email us.

Suggested Topic Areas:

  • Member engagement - recruitment, retention, volunteerism, and value propositions

  • Programs, products, and services - new ideas and how to implement them 

  • Communications and marketing - how to communicate with your members and stakeholders

  • Professional and personal development - leadership, time management, interpersonal skills, etc. 

  • CEO-education - high-level topics geared towards C-suite executives

  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion – from an organizational or an interpersonal standpoint

  • Staffing for success in a variety of circumstances 

  • Changes to staffing/working – travel policies, quarantining requirements, new family and medical leave requirements going into effect
