Special Interest Groups The Special Interest Groups (SIGs) were designed to not only provide members with another networking opportunity, but to use the forums as a way for members to review current NESAE programs and to make recommendations for future initiatives, including educational programming, newsletter articles and content for the website, that will benefit the entire NESAE membership. In addition to making proposals for the specific content on education programs, NESAE hopes that the SIGs will discuss ways the association can assist the membership through the development of guidelines, best practices, white papers, “how I do it” reviews, templates and where appropriate, suggest practice standards. CEO/Executive Leadership SIG Deals with issues of particular interest to CEOs and Executive Directors, such as financial, regulatory, and leadership concerns.
Rising Professionals SIG This SIG is for association professionals with five or less years experience. We will focus on career building and networking.
Membership, Marketing & Communications SIG Encompasses all aspects of membership, including recruitment and retention and effective communications.The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 6th from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts office: 31 St. James Ave., Suite 780, Boston, MA. Discussion will focus on the structure and mission of the Membership Committee within each participating association, and sharing strategies to increase their involvement. FREE for NE/SAE members!
