Special Interest Groups The Special Interest Groups (SIGs) were designed to not only provide members with another networking opportunity, but to use the forums as a way for members to review current NESAE programs and to make recommendations for future initiatives, including educational programming, newsletter articles and content for the website, that will benefit the entire NESAE membership.
In addition to making proposals for the specific content on education programs, NESAE hopes that the SIGs will discuss ways the association can assist the membership through the development of guidelines, best practices, white papers, “how I do it” reviews, templates and where appropriate, suggest practice standards.
Title: CEO SIG (Special Interest Group) Meeting
Date: Friday, September 16th.
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Waltham, MA
Fee: FREE for NE/SAE Members!
The topic of discussion will be: Work Life Balance: Myth or Reality
Recently the ASAE LinkedIn Group had a lengthy discussion on how to achieve work-life balance.
The participants offered good advice and tactics in how to come closer to achieving this "balance," but is a balance really possible?
Get together to discuss this hot-topic issue and learn tips on how to manage your personal, professional and civic commitments without sacrificing your sanity.
If you would like to attend or for more information, please contact the SIG Chair, Jeanne Wolf, CAE, at jwolf@bsas.org or call 617-542-6113.
