General Session
"The Will to Govern Well"
Paul D. Meyer, CAE
Increased unpredictability, rapidly changing environments, and leadership preferences require effective governance systems adaptable to change. There is an increased need for associations to provide value to members, customers and other association stakeholders. This requires a focus on making knowledgeable decisions, sustaining a culture of trust, and creating a nimble infrastructure to respond to changing dynamics. This session will examine successful association governance models and structures and will provide specific examples of what works.
